May Showers and VP season

As May is upon us, please remember its time to check those vernal pools. Its the only time of year when these can be accurately assessed.

We have seen wood frog and salamander  breeding activity this year  here on MDI during mid April, wood frogs were calling up in Presque Isle on April 21!
